Snij de rest van de asperges in stukjes van 2 cm.<br \/>Snipper de ajuin fijn, stoof deze glazig in een klontje boter, voeg de rijst toe en laat eveneens glazig worden, voeg de witte wijn toe en laat deze bijna volledig wegkoken. Voeg de aspergestukjes toe, (behalver de kopjes), verkruimel er de helft van het bouillonblokje over en bevochtig met water tot de rijst net onder staat, breng op een zacht vuurtje aan de kook en laat onder deksel zachtjes garen, voeg na 5 minuten de aspergekopjes toe en weer een beetje water.
